This year, we have signed up to be part of the Diagnostic and Argumentation for Cultural Literacy Learning in Schools (DIALLS) research project funded by Cambridge University. The project is focused on developing children who are tolerant, inclusive and empathetic towards others through the use of wordless texts.
Over the course of 15 lessons, children will access texts from Spain, Portugal, Germany, Cyprus, Israel and Lithuania and discuss relevant topics around the three key themes. We will be working with children in other schools in this country and other countries. This is an exciting opportunity and one we think the children will get a great deal from.
